In 2007, Willis Bond & Co entered into an agreement to develop the Overseas Passenger Terminal building on Clyde Quay Wharf. This is a landmark site in arguably Wellington's premier location.

Redevelopment comprises retail on the ground floor (cafes, restaurants, maritime), with approximately 70 luxury apartments on the upper levels. Car parking for the apartments will be entirely self-contained either under the wharf or inside the building envelope and the wharf promenade will be completely refurbished.

Resource consent was granted by the Environment Court in July 2009. Registrations of interest for apartments in this project can be made at www.overseaspassengerterminal.co.nz. The project team includes Athfield Architects, LT McGuinness Contractors and Dunning Thornton Engineers.
